Eclipse Season is Upon Us

It's that time of year again--eclipse season. These are times of change in planetary energy where we shift from one frequency to another. Eclipse season always brings two eclipses--one solar and one lunar--to bring new beginnings and endings.

I'm not one to tell people what to do, but the gods are at work during eclipse season, so during times of cosmic flux, I personally do not feel that it's wise to attempt to manifest or banish. It's like trying to fly a kite in a hurricane. It's a time to reflect, to manage, and to assess....and, most importantly, it's time to surrender to your soul's purpose.

Eclipses set the tone for the upcoming year. Total eclipses are more powerful, and partial ones less so, but partials still pack a punch. They're nothing to sneeze at.

This fall, we'll have a solar eclipse in Taurus on October 25th, followed two weeks later with a lunar eclipse in Scorpio on November 8th.

Pairs of eclipses usually happen in opposing signs. The last slew of eclipses occurred on the Taurus/Scorpio axis, and the one before that on the Gemini/Sagittarius axis. These last two 2022 eclipses will be the last of our Taurus/Scorpio eclipses before the axis shifts into Aries and Libra.

It's meaningful that the Taurus/Scorpio axis stimulates our feelings around our security and self worth and that must happen before we enter into the Aries/Libra axis of eclipses, which will force us to examine how we stand in our relationships. We must know our worth before we can be good partners, after all.

So with this being the last pure Taurus/Scorpio set of eclipses for a while, let's focus on Tauruses and Scorpios and what they can expect.

Taurus and Scorpio are going to feel the upcoming solar eclipse on October 25th highlight their relationship sector with new opportunities or a new way of doing things. (Note: Remember, while solar eclipses are commonly associated with new beginnings, they can also bring endings if something needs to end before the new thing can begin.) This eclipse is gorgeous because it's happening alongside Venus, which gives this solar eclipse a lot of love and sweetness!

The following lunar eclipse on November 8th, on the other hand, might illuminate the ways in which something needs to end in the relationships of Tauruses and Scorpios. There is a wildcard energy to this eclipse that will bring breakthroughs wherever it lands in your chart.

So, Taurus and Scorpio (this includes Taurus and Scorpio risings), this is about you figuring out who you are, what you stand for, what you want and deserve in partnership, and how you show up in partnership.
